We are based in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, UK. 

Our story starts with Darren Aged 20, tattooing himself & friends for fun from his flat in Castle Vale. Over time this developed into a hobby and then into his profession. Darren Worked for a few other tattoo outlets but always yearned to have his own tattoo shop, and out of these dreams A Splash Of Ink was born.
This was the start of our hobby becoming a business. 
With repeat business and new customers arriving from recommendations each weekend, we began to realise that we were very lucky indeed to enjoy this fantastic hobby, meet new people, and also build a business. Our company slogan is ILMJ (I LOVE MY JOB) so I consider us to be very lucky in the fact that every day we look forward to work, and that every day will be different and bring new design challenges to test our skills.

We soon started to out grow our first shop in Sheldon and decided to look for new premises. Our current location in Castle Bromwich was found by chance and have spent the last few years making our stamp on the tattoo community. We now have new premises and our family run business has some new family members.
